Qwess is set to be a super unique game with a very unique play style, basically the sky is the limit in the world we are creating, the more funding we have the better we can make this game and truly bring to life a epic game full of mechanics, uniqueness and complexity with many creatures to choose from with their own unique abilities. We really want to drive home a one of a kind experience with this game, with nothing holding us or you the player back.What is Qwess?
Qwess is a online multiplayer survival game where players survive among one another, they have the ability to grow from a young creature to full adult, customize their skin and optimize their traits to their liking, each with their own build type to really make your character a one of a kind.
The game features both Carnivores and Herbivores along with Omnivores, each and every creature can obtain a random mutation while growing or players can save points and create a custom trait tree to customize their character to make it as unique as possible while also fitting their gameplay style.
Gameplay is very straight forward, your character will start off in the world helpless and barely able to survive on its own, however it is not impossible. As your creature grows stronger you will be able to setup his traits in his tree. These traits range from increased stamina to damage resistance, more damage per hit, faster recovery, longer sniff range, increased night vision, etc. certain carnivores will be equipped with thermal vision they can use for X amount of time whilst hunting, smaller carnivores are more likely to have this feature, and very rarely could a large carnivore adapt this mutation.
As a fully grown creature you can mate with other creatures that are the same species as you, mutations will be split upon the newly spawned baby, so they will take part of their mothers gene and their fathers. while still being able to gain extra mutations as they grow.
This game will feature a bloodline tree that you can use to see your parents, your grand parents and your great grand parents, this tree will also display how likely you are to pass on certain traits.
You can live a quiet peaceful life as a large Herbivore, feeding on plants or you can be a large and nimble Carnivore devouring everything that crosses your path, the story and life you choose to live is truly your own.
